Mr.  Cochran  has  analyzed and designed buildings,  components, systems, and other structures, and he has evaluated the same for damage  due  to  a  wide  variety  of  perils. He has provided investigative solutions for property owners, insurance carriers, attorneys, contractors, and engineering professionals. He has also designed and specified remedial measures for damage repair and mitigation.

Mr. Cochran has performed fire origin and cause investigations on multiple commercial and residential structures and vehicles.  He has also performed numerous evaluations of chimneys and fireplaces for distress from actions such as fire and construction/installation.

Mr. Cochran has delivered multiple presentations to a variety of audiences on a range of topics in forensic engineering.  Mr. Cochran has performed the duties of both umpire and appraiser (for both carrier and insured) during the insurance appraisal process.  Mr. Cochran has provided expert testimony in deposition, mediation, and trial.
