Mr. Lau has assisted in the evaluation of a wide range of structures that have sustained damage from perils including hailstorms, windstorms, water intrusion, design errors, tree impact, construction defects, and fires.
He began his career in forensic engineering as an intern at Nelson Forensics, where he contributed to evaluations of residential, commercial, and industrial buildings and assessed multiple types of roof assemblies.
Mr. Lau earned his Bachelor of Science in Architectural Engineering from Texas A&M University. While at Texas A&M, he actively participated in the local chapter of the Architectural Engineering Institute, fostering professional development and collaboration among peers.
