Mr. Busteed has assisted in the evaluation of residential and commercial structures for damages relating to wind, hail, construction defects, and moisture.
Prior to joining Nelson, he attended Oklahoma State University and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering in May 2025. Mr. Busteed also gained experience in the transportation and concrete industries, assisting in the design of bridge spans, piers, parapet walls, and abutments.
During his time at Oklahoma State University Mr. Busteed was employed by the Civil Engineering Department where he supported research in advance concrete and materials science. He contributed to multiple research projects that explored the utilization of concrete 3d printing, the usage of fly ash and natural pozzolans, improvements to runway mix design and paving, and sustainable concrete mix design and building practices.
