Mr. Truelock has evaluated numerous residential and commercial structures for a variety of perils, including collapse, construction defects, design errors, expansive soils, fire, flood, hail, hurricanes, tornadoes, snow and ice, water intrusion, windstorms, and deterioration. He has evaluated many types of low and steep slope roof systems, building envelopes, framing, and foundation systems; and has provided causation analysis and repair recommendations for these perils as they have affected concrete, steel, and wood components and systems.
Prior to joining Nelson, Mr. Truelock evaluated multiple school and fitness facilities for recommended code-compliant renovations while serving as an intern to supplement his coursework at Texas Tech University. He also has experience in metal fabrication and installation of structural and non-structural elements for residential and commercial buildings, as well as experience with installation of noise-dampening acoustic panels and suspended ceiling systems.
