Tom Quintero, M.S., P.E.
Tom’s early career focused on the structural design of residential projects and seismic rehabilitation of historic structures. His interest in the built environment led him to pursue graduate-level studies in community planning; and he participated in disaster mitigation research while a student at Texas Tech University. Mr. Quintero’s subsequent structural design work involved commercial and higher-education projects. Eventually, he led a design team, and he mentored and managed his team in the design of commercial buildings, mid-rise structures, and K-12 education projects.
Tom has analyzed, designed, and detailed hundreds of structural systems, including commercial and residential buildings, seismic retrofits, and adaptive-reuse structures. Additionally, Tom has substantial project management experience including task delegation and scheduling, financial management, and coordination across design, construction, and ownership teams.
