Ms. Thompson is an experienced architect with a background in both design and evaluation of facilities during and post-construction. Her professional experiences include the provision of architectural services from programming to design development, creation of construction documentation, coordination of engineering and specialty design consultants, construction administration, and analysis of construction and design deficiencies in the as-built environment. She has valuable expertise in fenestration detailing, waterproofing and flashing, building codes, accessibility, product selections and specifications, construction documentation, and field testing.
Prior to her work in forensics, Ms. Thompson provided architectural services to commercial, governmental, religious, and institutional clientele. She led design and construction teams in exceeding the needs and expectations of her clients. She has years of experience in coordinating multi-discipline consulting teams including civil and structural engineering; mechanical, electrical, and plumbing engineering, and landscaping throughout the design process; and liaising with contractors and building officials during the construction and close-out phases of projects.
