Marketing Coordinator


Position Objective:

The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for the development, implementation, and coordination of innovative strategies to expand brand awareness and showcase the corporate identity of Nelson Forensics, LLC.  The position allows the candidate the opportunity to develop personally desired areas of expertise and be an integral part of the growth of a national organization.

The ideal candidate should be well-rounded and comfortable working both independently and in a team environment.  This individual should strive to continually develop and refine his/her technical skills while participating in multiple and concurrent corporate development initiatives.  Candidates must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Utilize graphics, mass media, social media, and other advertising platforms to enhance the relationship between Nelson Forensics and its existing and potential clients
  • Design, create, and manage copy and graphics content for marketing strategies utilizing:

♦Social media
♦Print and web publications
♦Newsletters, press releases, announcements, e-mail campaigns, mailers, and other advertisements
♦Participation in professional organizations related to areas of firm practice

  • Develop and maintain a social media presence on platforms including LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, and Facebook
  • Conduct competitive research and present findings to firm executives
  • Ensure consistency and compliance with corporate brand standards
  • Create, author, and publish monthly e-newsletter
  • Manage email campaigns
  • Create and update graphics on exhibit displays, banners, and signage
  • Manage collateral design and ordering for print, digital, and content marketing
  • Prepare PowerPoint presentation material for marketing events
  • Maintain and update portions of corporate website
  • Coordinate production of video media to spotlight firm services
  • Develop and manage campaigns to market firm presence at events, trade shows, and conferences
  • Participation in offsite marketing events, trade shows, conferences, etc.

Education and Experience:

  •  Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Marketing, Journalism, Advertising, Graphic Design, Graphic Art)
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in corporate marketing strategy, design, and implementation
  • Proficiency with:

♦Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint
